Following the recent success in becoming the first local paper company to achieve a chain of custody certification for its local operations under the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Scheme, Kasco Ltd has reinforced its environmental credentials by joining forces with Paperex International LLC of Dubai to establish Kasco Paperex Recycling Ltd (KPR). Kasco Paperex Recycling Ltd has set-up its own collection depot to collect, process & bale the various grades of board & paper prior to shipping out to the paper mills for re-pulping. The recycled grades include; • Newspapers • Magazines – Leaflets – Booklets • Books • Notebooks – Copybooks • Phone Directories • Yellow Pages • Carton Boxes • Office Files / Office Paper • Security PaperKasco Paperex Recycling Ltd has been specifically set-up to fill in the concerns and claims of the local community to have an efficient “waste paper” recovery service which will contribute directly towards the EU set targets for the recovery and recycling of paper & packaging waste. The recycling services provided by Kasco Paperex Recycling Ltd include: • Scheduled pick-up / collection service • The provision of skips, bins & bags for collection & separation at source • The provision of equipment for on-site processing of high volume materials. Kasco Paperex Recycling Ltd plans to launch community programs with Schools, Local Councils, Banks & Offices and also a “Paper Retrieval Contest” within the local community with the scope of collecting as much paper as possible. From a survey carried out by the Kasco Marketing department, 82% of the Printing presses are open for business by 7:00a.m. In the light of this statistic Kasco Management where prompt to react and change its operational hours to better assist and support Printers with their daily requirements. Kasco Limited has been appointed by Huber Gruppe, as their exclusive representatives for the Maltese Market. Huber Gruppe is a German Group, founded back in 1765 by Michael Huber München.The Huber brand is acclaimed for its high quality standards within the printing industry as well as offering unmatched technical support to its international clients by means of regular visits. Huber representatives were very enthusiastic to visit various printing presses in their first of a series of visits to Malta.
